It's a ....

We made it to the perinatologist today for our anatomy sonogram! We had issues with the scanner but you'll get the idea. Brian and I were thrilled to see the baby moving around, waving and kicking. I wasn't sure we would find out the gender as little one had their legs tucked up. After a lot of prodding, she was able to get a peak.

It's a BOY!!!!!!!

Brian did a big fist pump when she said it and said 'yes!'. Then he looked back at me and said, I'd of been happy either way but we can have a girl later =). What a goob.
We called my Mom, Dad, Robert and Tara on a well orchestrated conference call so we could tell them all at the same time. I'm so excited to know and start planning the nursery!

18 Weeks

I went to my appointment on Thursday and got a good bill of health. I'm feeling much better, and we've been able to get out with friends. Since we'll be moving in a few months, we want to make sure to soak up as much time as possible. The best part is that she gave me the paperwork for our ultrasound and we get to go on Thursday. We are ready to see the little one moving around and if all goes well find out the gender! They will record it if you provide a VHS tape (did you know they still made those?), and we were able to find one a Best Buy today. Now I just have to focus until Thursday!
