There's a lot going on in the Long household these days. We've had our house on the market, and since we have dogs it involves lots of appointments and running around with the dogs so that we aren't in the house. The dogs don't seem to mind:The good news is, we have a contract! Hopefully all goes well and we will close on the 30th. Ironically, our we found out our water heater was kaput today, so we have to replace and repair it before we move. I'd be lying if I said it didn't irk me a little, but such is life.
In baby long news, we're growing on schedule. We're at 25.5 weeks, and still doing well so far. Still no first name decided, but his middle name will be McKinley after Brian's PawPaw. We may need to see him to figure out what name fit's him best. Pregnancy hormones have made me a wee bit on the emotional side. During the offer/counter offer stage of selling our house, I definitely cried over giving up our fridge. Yup, the fridge. Hubby thought I was loosing my mind, and later on, I realized it wasn't quite as big a deal as it seemed.
We will head toward GA on April 24th for a quick rest, and then off to settle in New York. Brian will start on May 1st. We have a townhouse we've rented for four months, and then we'll find another place to live. Since Ithaca is a college town, it is easier to find a place to live during the summer we've been told.
Please keep us in your prayers as we close on our house, move, and find a new doctor in NY.

Congratulations on the contract! And you look GREAT!
McKinley is my all time top choice for baby names! I love it!! Congrats on the contract and the big move!!
Yay for a contract! Adorable picture. Prayers for your house and move coming up.
Good luck on selling and moving! We sold our first home and moved out when we were about 2 weeks pregnant, then moved into a town home, and then moved into our house now at 8 months pregnant. Not fun but at least you get an out from moving boxes! :-)
And don't wait until he comes out - all babies look like Winston Churchill when they come out. haha. J/K...sorta.
